I had the opportunity to share my art practice with the South Surrey White Rock Arts Society (SSWRAS) in their March Meeting. I did a 90-minute demonstration for the group sharing my unique process of using acrylics and glazes to create a brightly coloured scene. The group meets month and has a beautiful space in the community centre in White Rock. I am always excited to be in a room full of creatives! However it will never feel normal painting (an introverted activity) in front of a crowd.

I showed the steps I took to paint this forest scene:

Painting: Sunlit Trees, North Vancouver, Canada, Acrylic on Canvas, 20″ x 16″, SOLD

Thank you to SSWRAS for inviting me. I met some amazing artists and had great chats about painting and art marketing. Please contact me if you have any follow up questions about the demonstration or if you you are interested in hosting a demonstration with me. My next art demo will be at Opus Art Store in Downtown Vancouver on April 29th, 2017. The session is free but space is limited, register early. I look forward to seeing you there!

Cheers,
