Piazza Michelangelo | Joanne Hastie | Canadian Artist

Piazza Michelangelo

My first trip to Italy was visiting Florence. I absolutely immediately fell in love with the city. I walked along the Arno River and the next day took an art tour of the Academia and Uffizi galleries. The tour guide recommended I hike up to Piazza Michelangelo, which inspired this original canvas painting. This view exceeded all expectations I had for Italy and keeps me coming back to Florence.
