INTO THE VARLEY TRAIL
Varley Trail is a trail in Lynn Valley named after Canadian Painter, Frederick Varley (1881 – 1969). Varley was a Canadian War Artist and a member of the Group of Seven. After WWI he moved to Vancouver and lived in a house in Lynn Valley that is still there today. By the house, there is a stretch of beautiful, North Vancouver trail. These are paintings all inspired by that 2km stretch of trail from several different hikes there.
