Inspiration of the painting
This original painting is inspired from views while biking on Mount Seymour in North Vancouver. It is along the trail Asian Adonis, near the end as the trail gets more flowy, there are sharp left turns. This is one of those turns in the evening as the setting sun is coming through the trees in the dense mountain forest.
This painting is part of the collection Forest Light released in September 2021. During the past year I made focused effort to get consistently out to the trails on my bike as well as hiking. The adventures inspired this collection of paintings.

Details of the Painting
This painting is acrylic paint on canvas. The canvas is gallery wrapped (1.5" thick) and I continue the painting around the edges (as shown in the photo). The painting is signed in paint on the front "JHastie" and signed and dated on the back. The painting comes with hanging wire and hardware.
