Descending into Corvara

This landscape painting is inspired from a photo I took while hiking in the Italian Dolomite Mountains. I traveled to Corvara Italy for a road cycling trip, but took the final day of cycling off to hike through the June mountains. This view is from the Piz Boe Chairlift above Corvara looking at the Sassongher peak - the familar peak when you are anywhere in Corvara.
