About the Painting:

This view is painted from high above the campsite, where tents are tucked among boulders and rockfall on this side of the lake. From this angle, the turquoise water is edged by the treeline and framed by rugged slopes. Unlike the quiet reflections at the shore, this perspective highlights both the rocky campground setting and the dramatic scale of the surrounding landscape.
