Print packaging & processing timelines

Paper prints:

    • Paper prints, depending on the print size, will be packaged in a Stay-Flat cardboard envelope with backing board and plastic sleeve and larger prints I roll with tissue paper into a 3" cardboard tube
    • Please allow 10-14 business days processing time for paper prints, contact me if you require a sooner timeline (joanne@joannehastie.com 778-999-2751)

Canvas prints:

    • Canvas prints require time to print, stretch and varnish. Please allow 10-14 business days for processing your mounted canvas prints. I will send a tracking number as soon as it is available.
    • Framed prints may add processing time.
    • Canvas prints are shipped stretched (ready to hang) in a cardboard box.
    • Please be very careful when opening a stretched canvas print box with a knife, not to cut or scratch the canvas

Postal & Shipping Carriers

  • Shipping is done in North America with Canada Post, CanPar, Purolator, UPS, DHL, ACE Couriers, FedEx. It is based on package size and destination and rates. If you need a specific shipping company to get to your destination, email me to discuss.
  • Due to the size and nature of the packages, home or business addresses are best as often PO Boxes result in the art being returned to sender. 

Original paintings processing time

  • To ship original paintings, I protect the work with cardboard, plastic sheeting and bubble wrap. I use Canada Post to ship the artwork
  • If the painting requires protective varnish, I let the acrylic varnish dry for 7 days before packing it up
  • Please allow minimum 1 week packaging (depending on my painting/business capacity), I will contact you about the ETA
  • Please be aware that there may be additional VAT/customs charges to be paid by the customer on delivery depending on your location

      Damaged Artwork

      • We do our best to protect the work... but if you received damaged artwork in the mail, email me immediately with photographs of the damage. It is best to photograph the packaging before opening it
      • I will consider each incident on a case by case basis. Based on our communication regarding the damaged work, I will refund, replace or repair the art. So please email me and we can discuss... my goal is to get the artwork you love on your walls! :-)

       

      Shipping Overpayment

      • I do my best to estimate the shipping price on my website. If the shipping price difference is greater  $15 CAD (which means you paid more than the cost of shipping) I will contact you via email and refund the difference
