About the Painting:

Upper Joffre Lake is framed by glaciers and high peaks. In this moment, white clouds drifted overhead and mirrored in the turquoise water, turning the surface into glass. Seen from the campsite side of the lake, this painting captures the reflection and the clarity of the alpine air.
