About the Painting:

This view is painted from the hiker’s side of Upper Joffre Lake, looking across the water toward the surrounding peaks. Rippling waves shift between turquoise and violet, while trees, snow, and rock add contrast along the shoreline. The piece focuses on the alpine colours and textures visible right at the water’s edge.
