This collection grew out of a two-night solo backpacking trip to Joffre Lakes Park, where I filmed the journey for my first silent hiking film. From that adventure came five new acrylic paintings, joined by two additional works inspired by the Grouse Grind trail.

The Adventure Behind the Art

This summer I hiked and camped at Joffre Lakes — my first ever solo camping trip. The time alone gave me space to notice the shifting light, the sounds of the forest, and the stillness of the lakes.

That adventure inspired five paintings — each one a way to revisit Joffre every day and bring its sense of adventure into your home.
